First year with a goalie!
I did this layout using my new Out of Character cartridge. I scraplifted a layout by Jennifer Yates on the cricut circle blog. Have to give her the credit for this idea. i used the same title and soccer theme. The Out of Character cartridge is a circle exclusive. papers are by Create paper Neighborhood collection. The border around the page is from Love you a Latte cartridge. The soccer balls are from Life's a Party. i didn't own this cartridge but a sweet lady on the message board sent me a few :) This was a big year for Kennedy's soccer because this is the first year they get to use goalies! :)
Thanks for looking!

Take time to smell the flowers
Did this layout using quickutz abigail. So happy I have my cricut now as it cuts so nice. I think even it might have trouble with these skinny letters.

Farmer Boy
This is a layout I finished off today. :) I used the circle exclusive cart pop up neighborhood. I had no clue what I would actually use that cartridge for but it turned out to have the tractor on it I needed. Can you believe out of over 100 cartridges I didn't have another with a tractor on it? The corn and horse are also from this cartridge. I printed them all out using colors from the imagine. The alphabet is Kate's abc's. Leave it to me to make a layout using fancy pants papers and a girly cartridge as a font! :) Lol I think the font is very universal though.
I just love fancy pants paper! They make my favorite paper line ever!! :) This paper/embellishment collection actually came from Little red scrapbook kit April 2011 collection. Only took me one year to use it! LOL I still love it as much as the day I got it though. I tend to hoard my fancy pants papers/embellishments!
Thanks for looking!

Pirates Christmas Treasures
I just love this Buccaneer Cricut Imagine cartridge. It has some really cute images on it. I actually made a scrapbook page today. Making pages is something I haven't done in quite a while. I really need to start making them because I'm so happy when I do. I am happy with how it turned out. All the embellishments are 3D. I feel like everything I make always looks so much better in person. I haven't figured out a good way to take photos of my projects. Any tips on that?

This is one of my favorite layouts. I did it awhile ago. I used accent essentials and opposite attract in the upright feature. I used the cricut markers with it.
My daughter Kennedy is on the left at 9 months old. Andrew is on the right at 9 months old. :) Miss the baby stage sometimes

Good times and a Imagine Challenge!
So, I'm having a lazy day sitting around the house and playing on the computer. I'm loving going from blog to blog getting lots of creative ideas. :) I saw that bitten by the bug 2 was out. I loved the original bitten by the bug challenge blog. It would have a certain cut each week and challenge other cricut lovers to make something using that specific image. Well, it got me thinking...yikes right?
Wouldn't it be great if there was a blog that was like that for the IMAGINE? I think so!
So, I thought I'd see if there was any support for such a blog? I thought I'd start it here on my personal blog and if it took off we could give it its own site.
I'd like to start by challenging you to use the cartridge that came with most of our machines. Imagine more. I would like to specifically challenge you to use the cute sun image on page 4 of the book.
I am not sure what I'll do for a prize as I just came up with this idea. Right now I have an extra large jar of Silver flower soft for the winner. I'll add more to the prize for every 10 people that enter. How does that sound?? Off to figure out the Mr. Linky thing.
Hope you enjoy the layout I made with the imagine.
You will have until March 10th to post your project made with the sun. I will then announce the winner. Winner will have two weeks to contact me for their prize.
Rock and Roll
I meant to post all of this back in October...but life got busy.

This is the layout we got to make at a cricut circle meet up in Ohio. Its been a while but I never posted it. It was made using the nifty fifties cartridge! :)
Here are some of the fun calling cards I received

Here were the embossing folders we were able to buy

and here is the prize I won!!

My Soccer Star
This is a layout of my son's first season of soccer. I have more photos of this season yet to scrap so no journaling on this layout. The font is from Micky Font. The papers are really a hodge podge of Ctmh, fancy pants and a stack from Joannes. lol
I hadn't done a layout in so long I think I forgot how. This took me a while to put down.

Brave Halloween Knight!

I just finished this layout tonight. It is of my son last year at Halloween. We were in Texas at the time so thats why he is in shorts. That would never go around cold Indiana. I used paper dolls for the tree and the bat. I used my i rock to add sparkly eyes to the bat. The title is a mix of the gypsy font welded and base camp. Papers are by fancy pants.
