Create a critter and the Imagine best friend cart

This card was inspired By Stacy over at Love that Bug. She is doing a create a critter series now. She also has a video on her blog on how to do a shutter card! :) This is my very first shutter card and I can see I'm going to be doing a lot more. Yesterday I got my Create a critter cartridge in the mail that I won on Letscricut.com

I couldn't wait to use it. For this card the images are all from create a critter. All the papers are from the best friends imagine cartridge. The font is planting schoolbook. Thanks for looking!

Spring Fever!

I need spring time to come! :) The bird, grass and flowers were cut with straight from the nest. I used the best friend color pallet to color the grass, bird and flowers. The sentiment is by CTMH

Imagine T Shirts!

These t shirts were really easy to make. I got some printable iron on fabric from Joanns and some t shirts from Michaels. The t shirts are only 2/$5 this week at michaels!

Super easy to make. I just put them in my imagine. The Yellow one was made using Everyday Cricut. This is a new cartridge made just for the cricut circle. The pink one is for my daughter. It is made using Kate's Kitchen. My son wanted a soccer shirt and of course I don't have the soccer cartridge. I did find a soccer ball on the Beset friends cartridge though. The font on that one is from Mickey font.

I did do test cuts to make sure I had the sizes right. I also cut at the highest blade pressure.

Imagine is in the house!!

The new Cricut imagine is in the house! I'm so excited. I am actually updating it now and its going to take a few minutes.

So, here are some tips for those of you getting your imagines from HSN!

1. If you can have two people to get it out of the box--its a good thing. This thing is heavy.

2. turn it on and do the update before trying to put the ink in. I tried to put the ink in first but couldn't get the latches to open. This took forever before I figured out it had to turn it on and let it run through its start up first.

3. If you bought it from HSN there is a machine update on the nursery tails cartridge. Insert this cartridge before using your machine

4. before you cut anything calibrate your machine

5. Stock up on white paper!

6. Have fun!

Ok, so I've printed out two sheets today. I'll try my best to keep track of how much I print but no promised. So here are the sheets i've printed so far.

That last project looks so much better in person. I really didn't put it on the page crooked. I was trying to take the photo at an angle so you could see how 3d it is.
