Todays Challenge at 365 Cards was something Fishy. You could make any type of card you wanted but it had to have a fish on it somewhere! :) I was excited that I actually just got this stamp in the mail today from Sugar Nellies. Isn't it cute? It actually turned out nothing like I envisioned. I wasn't going to color the sky background. But when i was distressing i got some brown ink on it and i was not about to waste it after coloring it. So i tried to use my daughters paint brush (couldnt find any of mine) and watercolor the background. Well we all know how cheap kids paintbrushes are and that wasnt working. Of course my watercolor pen is in storage....so i tried to use my blender brush with ink. This just made the paper pile up....so i ended up going over it with a copic. That torn corner tab thing is actually to cover up the majority of the piling. Anyway, even though its not what i envisioned I guess i'm ok with it. This also was a male card which was the challenge over at the sugar bowl. I have been waiting for these stamps just so i too could play over at the sugar bowl. I got my first 3 sugar nellie stamps today. I got this one, daisy and demure.
