365 cards honor of spring break challenge

Today on 365 Cards the challenge was in honor of spring break. We were to make a card that reminded us of the sand, sun and water. this is what I came up with. I didn't have a lot of summery stamps to choose from but I had this one. I glittered the hula skirt.



Today, I also went to hobby lobby and bought two copic markers and Joanns and got a few of those Studio G $1 stamps they have. Yeah I know. I said no more new stamps. When did I say that? yesterday? I'm sure no one actually believed me. After I posted that I was going to try not to buy any new stamps I discovered that Whiff of joy will soon be taking pre orders for their Summer release. HA yeah, like I would be able to stay away from that. I'm so in love with the designs that Elisabeth Bell comes up with for them. I already know I will love them. Plus, they are cheaper when you preorder them! You can see a small sneak peak here


so anyway, Here is what I did with one of those $1 Stamps I got at Joannes today
isnt it cute? I am not sure if you can read the small saying under the flower but it says "weren't you 29 last year?) I thought it was funny.

And last but n0t least...the most exciting part of my day. This is my early graduation present! It is a master Cardiology Stethoscope in PURPLE!!! I love purple and this one is so much better than the one I used in Nursing School. It says my last name with "RN" after it. Thats not true yet but will be in a few weeks. isn't it purdy?
